Technical Glitch Alters Chennai Metro Rail Service

Chennai`s Metro Rail service has been disrupted due to a technical glitch, according to an announcement by the Metro Rail Administration.
A statement on X`s social media page confirmed the issue, stating, "A technical glitch has led to the operation of the Chinnamalai-Alandur route on a single track. Currently, normal services from Wimco Nagar to Chinnamalai remain unaffected."
To address the situation, a short-distance round trip service has been arranged between Arinagar Anna Alandur Metro and the Airport. Meanwhile, regular services on the Green Line are running as usual. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and are apologized to for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.
