Great news regarding Air Force Station in Tambaram allowing the public to use its facilities - A new hangout spot ready!!

As a part of social outreach, the Air Force Station at Tambaram in Chennai would open its cricket ground, hockey ground, runway and other facilities for the public. Sound`s incredible right!!
In addition, the ponds in the Air Force Station campus can also be used by the public as a hangout spot now. Amrit Sarovar played its role in the development of this pond here and walkways etc would be constructed around the pond.
Setting of aero park:
It must be taken into account that an aero park is being set up by displaying the fighter planes withdrawn from the service. Information gathered is that the Union govt has given its approval regarding the public using the facilities inside the defence establishments.
As per an officer it was clear that the Union govt has given its approval regarding the public using the facilities. He added that those who are highly interested in flying could use their runway to operate small or light planes. It must be noted that there are 2 runways in the Air Force Station. The officer spoke about how recently Tamil Nadu Cricket Association members came and checked the ground.
