Marathon to be held tomorrow in Chennai Metro City: Traffic changes in Besant Nagar!

A marathon race, the "India Virtual Marathon," is scheduled to be held in Chennai Metro City tomorrow, Sunday, 3rd September.
In a notification issued by the Traffic Division of the Chennai Metro City Police Department regarding this event, it is mentioned:
"The India Virtual Marathon will take place in Chennai Metro City tomorrow (Sunday, 3rd September). This marathon will consist of three sections: 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km, running from 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM.
The marathon race will commence at Alcott Memorial and conclude at MRC Nagar. Consequently, specific traffic adjustments will be implemented in these areas on that day.
All vehicles heading from Adyar L B Road to Besant Nagar 2nd Avenue or 3rd Avenue will be redirected via Muthulakshmi Park. These vehicles must proceed along L B Road and Shastri Nagar 1st Main Road towards the beach.
For vehicles traveling from Shastri Nagar Bus Stop to Muthulakshmi Park, the route will be through the 7th Avenue Junction, M G Road, and L B Road.
It`s important to note that vehicles going from Mylapore R K Mutt Road to Guindy and Adyar WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO USE SOUTH CANAL ROAD AND GREENWAYS JUNCTION. Instead, they will need to follow the route via V K Iyer Saalai, R A Puram 2nd Main Road, Chamier`s Road, and Gandhi Mandapam."
