Weekend Rush Train: Kochuveli to Tambaram on September 10, 2023

Southern Railway has announced the operation of a one-way special fare train from Kochuveli to Tambaram in order to alleviate weekend congestion. Train number 06048, known as the Kochuveli – Tambaram One-way Special Fare Special, will depart from Kochuveli at 17:00 hrs on September 10th, 2023, and is scheduled to arrive in Tambaram at 12:00 hrs the following day (one service only). Advance reservations for this special train are now open, and it includes an AC tier-II, seven AC tier-III, nine sleeper class, two general second-class coaches, and first-class coaches, according to a statement released by Southern Railway.
