Changes in Train Services Due to Line Block / Power Block in Chennai Central and Jolarpettai Section

In a move prioritizing passenger safety and efficient train operations, the State Health Department has approved a Line Block/Power Block in the Chennai Central and Jolarpettai section at Arakkonam and Sholinghur Yard. This block is scheduled to take place on September 13, 2023, from 10:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs (03 Hours 30 Minutes).
As a result of this block, there will be changes in the pattern of EMU train services. Here are the details:
FULL CANCELLATION OF EMU TRAIN SERVICES:
1. Train No. 43407, Moore Market Complex – Arakkonam EMU Local departing from Moore Market Complex at 08:20 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS1) will operate between Moore Market Complex and Kadambattur departing at 08:20 hrs on the same day.
2. Train No. 43409, Moore Market Complex – Arakkonam EMU Local departing from Moore Market Complex at 09:10 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS3) will operate between Moore Market Complex and Tiruvallur departing at 09:10 hrs on the same day.
3. Train No. 43507, Moore Market Complex - Tiruttani EMU Local departing from Moore Market Complex at 10:00 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS7) will operate between Moore Market Complex and Tiruvallur departing at 10:00 hrs on the same day.
4. Train No. 43411, Moore Market Complex - Arakkonam EMU Local departing from Moore Market Complex at 11:00 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS9) will operate between Moore Market Complex and Kadambattur departing at 11:00 hrs on the same day.
5. Train No. 66008, Arakkonam - Moore Market Complex Passenger train departing from Arakkonam at 10:00 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS2) will operate between Kadambattur and Moore Market Complex departing at 10:25 hrs on the same day.
6. Train No. 43510, Tiruttani - Moore Market Complex EMU Local departing from Tiruttani at 10:15 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS4) will operate between Tiruvallur and Moore Market Complex departing at 11:10 hrs on the same day.
7. Train No. 43418, Arakkonam - Moore Market Complex EMU Local departing from Arakkonam at 11.15 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS6) will operate between Kadambattur and Moore Market Complex departing at 11.35 hrs on the same day.
8. Train No. 43420, Arakkonam - Moore Market Complex EMU Local departing from m Arakkonam at 12.00 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS8) will operate between Tiruvallur and Moore Market Complex departing at 12.35 hrs on the same day.
9. Train No. 43512, Tiruttani - Moore Market Complex EMU Local departing from Tiruttani at 12:35 hrs will be FULLY CANCELLED on September 13, 2023. Instead, a Passenger Special (PS10) will operate between Kadambattur and Moore Market Complex departing at 13.25 hrs on the same day.
PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF EMU TRAIN SERVICES:
1. Train No. 06727, Moore Market Complex - Tirupati MEMU Express Special departing from Moore Market Complex at 09:50 hrs will be PARTIALLY CANCELLED between Moore Market Complex and Arakkonam on September 13, 2023. In place of the Partially Cancelled MEMU Express Special, a Passenger Special (PS5) will operate between Moore Market Complex and Kadambattur departing at 09:50 hrs on the same day.
These changes aim to ensure safe train operations during the scheduled Line Block/Power Block. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
