It seems that the consumers of Aavin milk in Chennai are unhappy now!!
It is now said that the consumers have complained about the Aavin milk in sachets not being reconstituted properly and has milk solids etc. In addition, there are also many complaints about the shelf life of the milk sachets becoming shorter and low quality of curd made using the milk.
It was brought to light by a Triplicane resident that she has been buying Aavin blue milk sachets and the curds using the milk were not as good as in the past. She spoke about how the curd doesn`t taste right and it was gooey. As per an Aavin milk customer for 15 years residing in Pattabiram in Chennai it was clear that his family consumed full creamed milk and now the milk is diluted only.
The curdling of Aavin milk is highly challenging and this was as per a resident from Thoraippakkam, It must be noted that her family has been a long time consumer of Aavin milk products.
In the past few months, the number of complaints about Aavin milk getting spoiled has become more. He spoke about how the people have been complaining that the milk was not thick enough or improper balance of fat and non-fat contents. There are also people in some places who get Aavin milk with milk powder solids in the milk.
It was then revealed by Mr. S. Ponnuswamy, TN Milk Dealers Employees Welfare Association that as a consumer he too faced issues due to milk quality. He mentioned that Aavin must increase its procurement or else the issues would continue. Point is that Aavin procures about 30lakh litres of milk per day and sale of milk is about 29lakh litres per day.He concluded that Aavin must get a fresh lease of life and this must be ensured by the state govt.
