Chinnamalai Metro Station will undergo a temporary closure of its four-wheeler parking facility for a duration of two months starting from November 1st. Chennai`s metro network spans 54 kilometers along two routes, and the ridership on these metro trains has been steadily increasing.
In response to the growing number of passengers, efforts are underway to enhance the fundamental amenities, with a particular focus on improving parking facilities at key metro stations. As part of these efforts, the four-wheeler parking area at Chinnamalai Metro Station is scheduled for renovation. Consequently, the parking facility will be temporarily closed for a period of two months.
The Chennai Metro Rail Corporation has issued a press release regarding this development, stating, "In consideration of passenger convenience and the ongoing enhancements to regular parking services, the four-wheeler parking area at Chinnamalai Metro Station will undergo renovation."
