The timetable for the half-yearly examinations has been released for the students from the 6th Standard to the 12th standard studying under the syllabus of the Tamil Nadu State Government.
From this academic year (2023-24), the half-yearly examinations for the students from the 6th Standard to the 12th Standard are being conducted with the same set of question papers throughout the State of Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, the Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has now released the timetable for the half-yearly examinations. The details:
Half-yearly examinations for the students studying in the 6th Standard to the 12th Standard are to be conducted from the 11th of December until the 21st of December. Similarly, the half-yearly examinations for the 11th & the 12th Standard (+1 & +2), the half-yearly examinations will be conducted from the 7th of December until the 22nd of December. The examinations will commence at 9.30 AM and conclude at 12.45 PM for the +1 students (11th Standard). They will commence at 1.15 PM and conclude at 4.30 PM for the 12th Standard students (+2).
The Headmasters of the schools can download the question papers of different subjects from the official website of the Department of Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu the day before the examination.
It has been informed that the telephone number 14417 can be contacted in case any problems are encountered in downloading the question paper.
After the conclusion of the half-yearly examinations, the second term vacation will commence from the 23rd of December until the 1st of January 2024.
The officers of the Department of Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu informed that the classes to complete the syllabus MUST be conducted and completed before the 1st week of December.
