From November 27th to December 1st, similar weather conditions may persist, leading to light to moderate rain at a few places in the mentioned regions.
For Chennai and its suburbs, the weather outlook includes partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours. Certain areas may experience moderate rain with thunder and lightning, with the maximum temperature reaching around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature hovering around 24 degrees Celsius.
Looking ahead, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy for the subsequent 48 hours, with the possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in specific parts of the city. The maximum temperature is projected to be around 31 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is anticipated to be approximately 24 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for fishermen in the Bay of Bengal areas. On November 27, cyclonic winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 45 kmph, occasionally gusting up to 55 kmph, are anticipated over South Andaman and adjoining North Andaman Sea areas. On November 28 and 29, cyclonic winds with speeds of 45 to 55 kmph, occasionally reaching 65 kmph, are expected over the South East Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea.
Fishermen are strongly advised to refrain from venturing into these areas on the specified dates. Deep-sea fishermen are further cautioned to return to shore by the 28th for their safety.
