Kattayam Muga Kavasam - Wearing face masks compulsory now in Chennai and TN!!

With the Coronavirus infections increasing slowly now, the TN public health dept has asked the patients and those who are accompanying them to the hospitals to wear the face masks compulsorily. This is due to the increase in the doctors, nurses and employees in the govt hospitals getting affected by Coronavirus infection now.
According to the doctors, it was confirmed that the sudden rise in the number of Coronavirus cases now is due to the new variant JN.1. To control the spread of the Coronavirus infection, both central as well as the state governments have been taking measures is known. It is learnt that the TN public health dept has intensified the action to prevent the spread.
It must not be forgotten that last week the TN public health dept has asked pregnant mothers, elders and those with poor immunity etc to wear face masks.
