The Chennai Drinking Water Board has announced that the seawater desalination plant in Minjur will undergo maintenance work, causing a temporary shutdown for two days starting from 10 a.m. on January 26th to 10 a.m. on January 28th. To ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply, alternative arrangements have been implemented.
According to an official statement from the Chennai Drinking Water Board, Madhavaram, Manali, Tiruvottiyur, Ernavur, Kathivakkam, Patel Nagar, and Vyasarpadi will receive drinking water from the Puzhal drinking water treatment plant during this period.
