On Monday, the usually busy Tambaram bus station was buzzing with lots of activities as a digital wall showcasing the schemes of TN govt was inaugurated by the MSME minister Mr. TM. Anbarasan. Minister for information and field publicity, Mr. M.P. Swaminathan was also present.
It must be taken into account that several steps are being taken so that the govt welfare schemes reach all the people. The minister for MSME spoke about how a proposal was made to install digital walls at 10 bus stations to make sure that the schemes reached the public on time.
In places like Kancheepuram, Cuddalore and Madurai, digital walls have been established is known. On Monday, the fourth digital wall was inaugurated by the ministers.
By means of digital walls, huge awareness would be created among people regarding various government schemes plus the ways to avail these schemes. This was according to the MSME minister.
It is brought out that the digital wall of 16 ft * 10ft would showcase various schemes and programmes of the government through photographs.
