The officers-in-charge of the Public Examination Centers have undertaken a thorough check at the Practical Examination Centers. In Chennai Metro City, the District Collector undertook a personal visit to the School at Santhome where the question papers are kept.
The Minister for School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, Anbil Magesh Poyyamozhi, released the timetable for the 10th and the 11th Standards (+1 & +2) on the 16th of November last year.
Accordingly, the practical examinations commenced for the above classes. The practical examinations for the 10th Standard commenced on the 23rd of February and are scheduled to conclude tomorrow (Thursday, 29th of February).
The practical examinations for the +1 (11th Standard) students commenced on the 19th of February and concluded on the 24th of February.
The practical examinations for the +2 (12th Standard) students commenced on the 12th of February and concluded on the 17th of February.
As a continuation, the Public Examinations for the +2 (12th Standard) will commence on the 1st of March and conclude on the 25th of March.
The Public Examinations for the 10th Standard students will commence on the 4th of March and will conclude on the 8th of April.
Subsequently, the task of correction of the answer papers will be taken up, and the results for the +2 (12th Standard) will be announced on the 6th of May. The results of the Public Examinations for the +1 (11th Standard) students will be announced on the 14th of March.
The results of the Public examination for the 10th Standard will be announced on the 10th of March.
The Public Examinations will be conducted from 10.00 AM until 1.15 PM.
The State Examination Board has informed that 15 minutes will be allotted for reading the question paper and to enter the student details on the first page of the answer sheet.
In this situation, with the objective of conducting the important public examinations without any disturbances or hitches, 38 "special public examination officials-in-charge" have been appointed for each district.
The Directors and the Joint Directors of the Tamil Nadu State Government Education Department have undertaken visits to the respective districts.
They undertake personal visits to the Examination centers, question Paper Storage centers for a thorough check. As a part of this, the Chennai District Collector Rashmi Siddararth Jagade visited the Examination Centers in Chennai Metro City. The Chennai District Collector also visited the Protected Examination Question Papers center at Santhome High School.
