Devotees waited for 8 hours in Tham Darshan to catch a glimpse of Tirumala Elumalaiyan. As of Tuesday morning, devotees were waiting for darshan in 5 rooms of the Vaikundam waiting area. For Dharma Darshan (those without darshan tokens), it took 8 hours. Quick darshan for 300 devotees and those with live free darshan tokens took 3 to 4 hours each.
Children below 12 years old, along with their parents, were allowed to walk through the Alibiri corridor until 2 pm, and all devotees were permitted until 10 pm. On Monday, 65,051 devotees had darshan of Tirumala Elumalaiyan, with 23,176 of them making hair offerings. The Devasthanam reported an offering of Rs. 4.78 crore through bills.
