In a recent update, the State Bank of India (SBI) has disclosed revisions in annual maintenance charges concerning certain debit cards, set to take effect from April 1, according to information available on the SBI website.
The existing annual maintenance charges for Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless debit cards will undergo revision from April 1. Additionally, charges for Yuva, Gold, and Combo Debit cards will see an increase. Furthermore, the annual maintenance fee for the Platinum Debit Card will also be raised starting April 1.
- For debit cards including Classic, Silver, Global, and Contactless Debit Cards, the annual maintenance charge has been increased to Rs. 200 + GST, up from the existing Rs. 125 + GST.
- Debit cards such as Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card (Image Card) will also witness a hike in annual maintenance fees, which have been raised to Rs. 250 + GST from the previous Rs. 175 + GST.
- The annual maintenance charge for the SBI Platinum debit card will now stand at Rs. 325 + GST, compared to the previous charge of Rs. 250 + GST.
- For SBI debit cards like Pride Premium Business Debit Card, the annual maintenance charge has been increased to Rs. 425 + GST, up from the current Rs. 350 + GST.
