Correction of answer sheets for the Plus 2 Public examination commenced today with strict vigilance by officials. The Tamil Nadu State Board of Education administers public exams for grades 10 through 12. The Plus 2 Public exam for the 2023-24 academic year ran from March 1 to March 22, with approximately 7.6 lakh students participating.
Subsequently, the school education board arranged for answer sheet correction, transporting them to 101 Zonal Collection Centers under tight security starting March 23. From these centers, the answer sheets were dispatched to correction camps on March 28. Correction work began today and will continue until the 13th, involving about 46,000 teachers adhering to guidelines set by the education department. Monitoring officers oversee these proceedings, with police ensuring security.
Upon completion of answer sheet correction, tasks such as mark uploading will ensue. Officials anticipate publishing the examination results on May 6 as scheduled.
