Improved power distribution for Chennai

The TANGEDCO – Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation has planned to improve the power distribution strengthening works further to which the city can expect quality power very soon by next year. Tender notification was given out by the TANGEDCO and there were 8 companies who took part in it. The second phase of power generation is called R – APDRP which is Re-structured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme.
Out of the eight, Ashoka buildcon quoted the least. However, various other aspects of the bidding will be considered and the final decision will be made.
