Chennai beach gets monitored in CCTV

The Chennai Corporation wants CCTV cameras to be installed at the Marina beach. A proposal is sent and is waiting for approval. This will help in identifying people who dump waste materials at the beach.
In addition, the corporation is also set ready to watch out the entry of unauthorized vehicles into the beach. For this, 400 metre long trench and boulders will be set up in the adjacent areas of the beach. Activities in beach will also be monitored by recording the place with closed circuit cameras.
