Heat Wave Warning Issued for Tamil Nadu as Temperatures Soar

The Regional Meteorological Centre issued a heat wave warning for Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. Increasing temperatures have created uncomfortable conditions for the public during the day. Summer heat is expected to be severe, prompting advisories to stay indoors. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Erode ranks third among Indian cities with the highest occurrences of heat waves, following Bhubaneswar in Odisha and Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh.
