The Directorate of College Education has announced that undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25 in Government Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu are now open for applications starting today.
The general examination for 12th class students in Tamil Nadu took place from February 12 to 17, followed by practical and written exams from March 1 to 19. Approximately 7 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry appeared for these exams. The results for these exams will be released today (May 6), after which students can begin their higher education application process.
Tamil Nadu boasts a total of 633 self-financed private and 164 government arts and science colleges. The Directorate of College Education has specifically announced the commencement of application registrations for the academic year 2024-25 in government arts and science colleges in the state, effective today.
According to a press release, interested students can apply through the official website www.tngasa.in starting May 6. For those who may face difficulties in applying online, Admission Help Centers in Government Arts and Science Colleges are available to assist.
Candidates have the option to pay the application and registration fees online using Debit, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Alternatively, those unable to pay online can do so at College Admission Help Centers in the name of "The Director, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai - 15," or through bank draft.
