Railway Service Changes for Chennai Central - Arakkonam and Bengaluru Cantonment Routes!
Due to ongoing railway work between Villivakkam and Ambur on the Chennai Central - Arakkonam route, adjustments have been made to electric train services. The Chennai Central - Avadi electric train, departing at 12:15 AM on June 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, will operate via the express route between Villivakkam and Avadi. Consequently, this train will not stop at Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoyal, and Annanur stations on these dates.
In addition, renovation work at Bengaluru Cantonment railway station will cause express trains to bypass this station from September 20 to December 20. The affected trains include the Kaveri Express (16022) from Mysore to Chennai Central, the Kaveri Express (16021) from Chennai Central to Mysore, the Lalbagh SF Express (12607) from Chennai Central to KSR Bangalore, and 44 other express trains, including the Shatabdi Express (12027) from Chennai Central to KSR Bangalore.
Southern Railway officials have informed passengers of these schedule changes.
