These days, many people travel in metro trains in Chennai. The reasons for this is metro train travel is comfortable and affordable etc
It is now said that in the beginning of 2025 hyper markets would be opened by LuLu Group in metro stations like Shenoy Nagar, Chennai Central and Wimco Nagar etc. Point is that hypermarkets are superstores having a wide range of products under one roof.
For this, contractor Grace Services has joined hands with LuLu Group. This was as per some reports from CMRL.
Over a mammoth space of one lakh square feet in Shenoy Nagar, a hyper market would come up. It is learnt that at Chennai Central a hyper market would come up on a space of 40000 sq ft at the concourse level. Hypermarket would come up on the space of 60000 sq ft at the Wimco Nagar depot.
