Thiruvananthapuram Division Announces Fixed Time Corridor Block in August 2024: Changes in Train Services!

The competent authority has approved a Fixed Time Corridor Block for the Thiruvananthapuram Division for August 2024, leading to changes in the train service patterns as follows:
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
1. Train No. 16649 Mangaluru Central - Kanniyakumari Parasuram Express:
• Departure from Mangaluru Central at 05:05 hrs on 5th and 8th August 2024.
• Short terminated at Thiruvananthapuram Central and partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kanniyakumari.
2. Train No. 16650 Kanniyakumari - Mangaluru Parasuram Express:
• Departure from Kanniyakumari at 03:45 hrs on 6th and 9th August 2024.
• Partially cancelled between Kanniyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
• Service will commence from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 06:15 hrs.
3. Train No. 16729 Madurai - Punalur Express:
• Departure from Madurai at 23:25 hrs on 5th and 8th August 2024.
• Short terminated at Tirunelveli.
• Partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Punalur.
4. Train No. 16730 Punalur - Madurai Express:
• Departure from Punalur at 17:15 hrs on 6th and 9th August 2024.
• Partially cancelled between Punalur and Tirunelveli.
• Service will commence from Tirunelveli.
Diversion of Train Services:
1. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur - Chennai Egmore Express:
• Departure from Guruvayur at 23:15 hrs on 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th August 2024.
• Diverted to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala, and Alappuzha.
• Additional stoppages provided at Kottayam, C Changanassery, Tiruvalla, and Chengannur for passenger convenience.
2. Train No. 12697 Dr. MGR Chennai Central - Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express:
• Departure from Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 15:10 hrs on 18th and 25th August 2024.
• Diverted via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Alappuzha and Ernakulam.
• Additional stoppages provided at Ernakulam Town and Kottayam for passenger convenience.
3. Train No. 16355 Kochuveli - Mangaluru Jn Antyodaya Express:
• Departure from Kochuveli at 21:25 hrs on 17th, 22nd, and 24th August 2024.
• Diverted to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.
• Additional stoppages provided at Kottayam and Ernakulam North for passenger convenience.
