Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai has launched new diploma programs in drone applications, aiming to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and academic disciplines. VM Muralidharan, Chairman of the college, highlighted the transformative potential of drones, noting their impact across arts, science, and business studies. He emphasized that exposure to such technologies encourages students to leverage their creativity and develop innovative applications.
At the launch event, certificates in Drone Technology were awarded to approximately 150 students. Ashwin Prakash, Partner at Ernst and Young, and Ramesh Venkat, VP of TNSDC, addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of empowering students with cutting-edge technologies.
