Trillion Dollar Economic Goal - FMCG Giant Dabur to open a food processing facility at Tindivanam in TN!!

Just a day has gone since the foundation stone (for several industrial facilities that would attract a massive total investment of around Rs 68000 cr) was laid by the CM of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin.

Now, the news that has come out is that at an investment of about Rs 400 crores, FMCG major Dabur India is planning to open a food processing facility at Tindivanam in Villupuram district in TN.

It was brought to light by a release from the TN govt that the company Dabur India has exchanged MOU with TN govt. It must be noted that important personalities who made their presence felt were the chief minister of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin, chief executive of Dabur India Mr. Mohit Malhotra plus few like state chief secretary Mr. M. Muruganandham, industries secretary Mr. V. Aeun Roy etc .

Trillion dollar economic goal:

Point is that the efforts are being made now to bring capital intensive high tech industries as well as employment intensive industries to the state and this would be as a part of a trillion dollar economic goal. This would be the first time Dabur would be opening its first unit in southern parts of the country. This was mentioned by the industries minister Mr. T.R. Balu. The good news is that this upcoming unit would provide direct job opportunities for about 250 people. In addition to this, the farmers belonging to the Delta region would also get benefited as they would b able to sell their agro produce to be processed in this facility
