Market Update: Garlic and Ooty Carrots See Price Hike; Lemons and Green Chillies Drop!

Prices of Ooty carrots and garlic increased at Chennai`s Koyambedu Wholesale Market on Wednesday. Garlic, which was priced at Rs 320 yesterday, rose to Rs 340 today. Similarly, Ooty carrots went up from Rs 80 to Rs 90 per kg.
Conversely, the prices of lemons and green chillies fell. Lemons, previously at Rs 150 per kg, are now priced at Rs 140. Green chillies decreased from Rs 50 to Rs 40 per kg.
