Courtallam waterfalls are experiencing a rise in water levels across all sites, even during the off-season, thanks to recent rains.
The water level at the Five Falls area, adjacent to Courtallam Falls, has been steadily increasing. Consequently, bathing has been banned in this area due to the sudden surge in water flow, which poses safety concerns.
To ensure public safety, local police are conducting intensive surveillance of the area. Currently, there are no restrictions on bathing at other waterfalls. However, if the water flow at Five Falls normalizes, tourists will once again be permitted to bathe there.
