Marina Swimming Pool Set to Reopen After Renovations!

The Greater Chennai Corporation is set to reopen the Marina Swimming Pool for the public in the next few days after completing renovation work. An official stated that only minor tasks remain before the pool, closed since June, can be opened.
Initially maintained by the corporation, the pool was later handed over to a private contractor, leading to complaints about hygiene and poor maintenance. Following an inspection by Minister K.N. Nehru, renovations were carried out, including water flow improvements, upgraded restrooms and changing rooms, mural paintings, and CCTV installation for surveillance.
