On October 1, 2024, the Reliance Foundation successfully led the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 cleanliness drive, mobilizing approximately 1,700 employees and their families from the Tamil Nadu State Office. This initiative reflected a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community service, with volunteers actively participating across 90 locations, including state offices, distribution centers, area offices, and Jio Centers.
The event began at 7:30 AM and continued until 10:30 AM, with teams of six to ten members focusing their cleaning efforts on local parks, children`s play areas, and essential transportation hubs, including major railway stations and the iconic Marina Beach in Chennai.
The Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 drive not only aimed to enhance the beautification of public spaces but also sought to instill a sense of civic responsibility among participants and the broader community.
