Tamil Nadu Weatherman Predicts Over 250 mm Rainfall for North Chennai

The Tamil Nadu Weatherman has issued a warning as intense clouds over the coast are consolidating and moving into the city, bringing the next phase of very heavy rains. In the past six hours, some areas in North and Central Chennai have already received over 150 mm, with several stations surpassing 200 mm since midnight.
The incoming rain is expected to be prolonged, potentially pushing totals above 250 mm in North Chennai. As night falls, the intensity of the clouds is likely to increase.
