Schools to Remain Open in Chennai and Tiruvallur as Red Alert Withdrawn

Authorities have announced that schools and colleges in Chennai and Tiruvallur will function as usual tomorrow(17.10.2024). There will be no holidays, as the weather situation has improved.
The announcement comes following the withdrawal of the red alert, which was previously issued due to the possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu. The threat of severe weather has subsided with the dissipation of the low-pressure system over the region, reducing the likelihood of heavy rainfall.
