An important decision has been taken now by Aavin Company to compensate for the constant loss and to promote a new brand called Aavin Ice Creams. The news is that Aavin has decided to increase the price and quality of ice cream variants from 1st of November.
It has been confirmed by the officials from Aavin that the price of more than 100 varieties of ice creams would be increased from Rs 3 to Rs 70. Point is that the agents are not showing keen interest in buying and selling ice creams due to lack of returns on investment and less profit.
In the future, some new types of ice creams would be launched and the price of some ice creams like kulfi etc would be reduced.
At the Aavin`s retail outlets and stores, kulfi ice cream that costs Rs 30 now would be available for Rs 15 soon and cost of large kulfi ice creams would increase to Rs 40.
It is learnt that the production of sugar free vanilla ice cream and long kulfi has been stopped. There would be a discount up to Rs 100 for a 4500 ml bulk pack of ice creams especially for weddings, parties etc.
On the occasion of deepavali, products would be sold at current prices in this month and there won`t be any change and this was according to a senior officer from Aavin. He hinted that the finalisation of a new price list for each category of ice creams was going on and from 1st of November new prices would come into effect. For this upcoming deepavali, Aavin management would roll out new types of sweets. Point is that along with the present ones 8 new products like ghee badusha, nuts halwa, stuffed moti pack , kaju pista roll, kaju katli, assorted pack, Aavin mixture and butter murukku etc would be sold.
