According to the integrated draft electoral rolls published on Tuesday for the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2025, Tamil Nadu has a total of 6,27,30,588 voters. This includes 3,07,90,791 male voters, 3,19,30,833 female voters, and 8,964 voters from the third gender. Sholinganallur constituency in Chengalpattu boasts the highest number of voters at 6,76,133, while Kilvelur in Nagapattinam district has the lowest with 1,73,230 voters.
Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo announced that special campaigns will be held on November 16, 17, 23, and 24 at designated locations for citizens to apply for voter registration, Aadhaar linking, and corrections in electoral rolls. Citizens can also submit applications online via the Election Commission’s website or through the VOTERS HELP Line mobile app.
As of October 28, approximately 4.23 crore Aadhaar numbers have been collected for linking with Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC), accounting for 67.54% of the total voters in the state.
