Southern Railway Extends Weekly AC Train Services Between Tambaram and Thiruvananthapuram
In a move to enhance passenger convenience, the Southern Railway has announced an extension of the operation of the weekly AC special trains between Tambaram and Thiruvananthapuram North.
The service of Train No. 06035 Tambaram – Thiruvananthapuram North AC Weekly Special (Fridays) will now run on the following dates: January 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2025. This train departs from Tambaram at 7:30 PM and arrives at Thiruvananthapuram North the next day at 11:30 AM.
Similarly, the service of Train No. 06036 Thiruvananthapuram North – Tambaram Weekly AC Special (Sundays) has been extended to operate on January 5, 12, 19, 26, and February 2, 2025. This train leaves Thiruvananthapuram North at 3:25 PM and reaches Tambaram the next day at 7:35 AM.
This extension of services comes as part of Southern Railway`s efforts to meet the growing demand for connectivity between Tambaram and Thiruvananthapuram during the New Year season. Passengers are advised to book tickets early to ensure travel convenience.
