According to the Tamil Nadu Weatherman, coastal areas near Chennai will experience rain as the current low-pressure system moves towards the Andhra coast. This will likely be the final rain spell from this system, with normal rainfall expected in the region.
The low-pressure system is currently parallel to the Chennai coast and is moving northward, causing rainfall convergence further north.
