One important risk factor for NAFLD is obesity or excess body weight. It is a must for parents to keep an eye on the body weight of their kids and seek the help of a doctor when necessary. By limiting fructose consumption:
Parents must limit fructose intake of their kids by restricting the intakake of sodas, processed foods etc. Bitter fact is that excess intake of fructose could result in build up of fats in the liver of the kids. Intake of natural sugars and fibres etc would be good for the kids.
