Report Lost or Stolen Mobile Phones Easily with Sanchar Saathi App
Losing your mobile phone can be distressing, but the Government of India has made it easier to report and block lost or stolen handsets through the Sanchar Saathi App.
This initiative, developed by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), empowers citizens to swiftly take action by reporting lost or stolen mobile phones. The app enables users to block their device to prevent misuse and even assists in tracing it.
You can now:
- Report a lost/stolen mobile phone
- Block the handset to prevent unauthorized use
- Track its recovery status
This service is part of the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) system and is available across India.
