New sweets for Deepavali from Aavin

Aavin has introduced wide range of special sweets for Deepavali. The sweets come in attractive 250-gram packs. Last year, the sale of special sweets during Deepavali touched 9.3 tonnes.This year, so far, 11 tonnes have been sold and the sales are expected to touch 14 tonnes soon.The cashew cake and cashew halwa are priced at Rs. 140 each, special nut halwa at Rs. 125, badam halwa at Rs. 150 and chocolate burfi at Rs. 100.

The sweets are prepared at Aavin’s Ambattur dairy and will be available in the Federation’s 70 outlets and all franchise retail outlets in and around the city. Other than these sweets, Aavin also sells peda, gulab jamun, Mysore pak and milk khoa throughout the year.
