Renovation of basin bridge train care depot

According to the IRTSA Indian Railways Technical Supervisors’ Association, the Basin Bridge Depot undertakes coach maintenance of 17 trains daily turning them into 52 rakes and 1,010 coaches. Coach maintenance workers have to put with slush filled pits and other garbage piles in the working yard. This situation is soon going to end up.
A team of 300 staff from mechanical, electrical, engineering and medical departments headed by P.K. Mishra, Chennai Divisional Railway Manager and Mohan Rajan, assistant divisional railway manager have geared up by the Chennai Divisional Railway to clean up the basin bridge Train care depot. The work has to be completed within 10 days
