Suburban train services on Deepavali day

Suburban train services on Deepavali day will follow the Sunday pattern of suburban train services in the Chennai Beach Tambaram Chengalpattu sector and Chennai Beach Velachery sector.The womens special EMU running between Chennai Beach and Arakkonam will not be operated on that day. The computerized passenger reservation centres in the Chennai division of Southern Railway will function for only one shift, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, on account of the festival.
