Mosquito nets for poor

The Chennai Corporation will be distributing free mosquito nets to the poor people in Chennai. Early this year, the Corporation had decided to provide the nets to people residing near city`s waterways as part of efforts to tackle the mosquito menace. This step is likely to benefit over 70,000 Below Poverty Line residents. The Mayor Saidai Duraisamy said distribution of the nets would begin by next week.
