Metro rails to rock Koyambedu – Alandur

As planned earlier, the Koyambedu – Alandur metro rail service will begin from June 2014. The train compartments for this route will reach Chennai by March 2014. When enquired to the metro rail officials, they stated that three metro rails have reached the 26 hectares Koyambed metro rail station. The first train out of these 3 is now kept in the test run track which is of 800 meters. They also added that the test runs are already on the go.
