More than 86,000 people were screened at a mega health camp held by the Corporation of Chennai in 200 wards across the city on Thursday. Day One of the camps had a turnout of 27,735 men, 36,946 women, 13,798 girls and 7,761 boys. They were all given a master health checkup which included tests and screening for blood pressure, hypertension, diabetes, cardiology, neurology, thyroid, cervical cancer, bone mineral density, eyes and dental problems.
