Malindo Air to start daily flights from Trichy

A Malaysian-based hybrid airline Malindo Air will launch its commercial flight operations from Trichy, Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur shortly.
The joint Malaysia Indonesia airline, which is a member of the PT Lion Group, will start daily flights from Trichy on January 2. The flying time between Trichy and Kuala Lumpur will be three hours and 45 minutes.
The airline will start daily flights from Delhi on December 30.
The airline will operate daily flights from Ahmedabad and Mumbai on January 27 and February 15 respectively.
The airline would operate its Boeing 737 900 ER latest aircraft for its India operations with a 180seat capacity, including 12 business classes in every flight offering extra legroom and comfort.
As a special introductory offer, the economy class return fare would be Rs. 10,000 all inclusive from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur, while the business class return fare would be Rs. 39,900.
