More mini buses in Chennai

The Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation is planning to introduce additional 50 minibuses.
The
new routes decision will focus on North Chennai.The original plan was to run
100 buses. Currently, the areas covered by the operating mini-buses are
Pallavaram, Rampuram, Porur, Chromepet, Koyampedu, and Ambattur.
These
mini-bus services have been welcomed by the public with great enthusiasm. The
production of another 50 mini-buses is expected to be completed shortly.Accordinglt,
MTC will run 60 new mini-buses. The routes have also been decided.
Priority
has been accorded to the North Chennai areas.
