Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurates TNPL projects

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated various projects of the Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. (TNPL) worth nearly Rs. 332 crore, including a de-inking plant at a cost of Rs. 164 crore.
Stating that Ms. Jayalalithaa on Monday inaugurated them through video conferencing from Kodanad, a press release, issued on Wednesday, said besides the de-inking plant, a revamped steam and power system for producing captive power, involving an investment of Rs. 167 crore, was opened.
