visitors including foreign visitors, when compared to other tourists’ spots in
the state.

got 40, 77, 481 domestic tourists and 3, 90, 642 foreigners.

263 domestic visitors in addition to 2, 51, 803 foreigners, Kodaikanal got,
82, 58, 807 and 1, 97, 318 foreigners.Temple towns like Tiruchendur 96, 75,
703 tourists, Kanyakumari 83, 92, 423 tourists, Palani 69, 46, 141 tourists and
Kumbakonam 63, 27, 260 tourists.
We are aiming to
develop several new locations that have not been exploited till now, says
Hemanth Kumar Sinha, commissioner of tourism.
