Consumers are happy with the news that fish & vegetable prices are coming down & stabilizing – the stock is in good quantities and also fresh.

The season changing over to summer from winter, the fishermen have started venturing with no more bad winds & cyclone warnings. The higher prices were partially due to low stock and this would now be taken care of.

After the Pongal festival season, the prices of vegetables also go down. Price of drumsticks have come down from Rs. 250 per kg to Rs. 140. Green chilli is sold now at Rs. 15 per kg as compared to the earlier price of Rs. 18/-.The price of bitter gourd is also down.
