Supervision Camera in Cinema Theatres at Chennai

In Chennai, to increase the safety measures in cinema theatres, Police Commissioner George has conducted a suggestion meeting in Chennai Police Commissioner Office yesterday. This meeting was headed by Assistant police commissioner Rajesh Das.

From the police fringe, Joint Commissioners Thirugnanam, Shankar, Shanmugavel; Assistant Commissioners Giri, Pagalavan and many higher police officials and about 75 cinema theatre managers actively participated in the meeting.

After the commencement of the meeting, below is the information shared by Albert Theatre Manager, Mariappan to pressman:

Various safety advices were given by the police officials to improve the theatre safety. They ordered us to set supervision cameras in the theatre entrances, ticket counters, and vehicle parking areas and so on. Fans must be tested without giving any trouble to them, before entering the theatre. All these factors are accepted by all the theatre managers.

In order to control all the supervision cameras and monitor the registered monitoring videos, a special room has to frame in the theatres. All the theatre owners, has promised for following all the safety rules and advices set by the police department.
