Its varicella’s turn now

Varicella zoster virus has started affecting the people little earlier than usual. According to doctors, the virus causes Chicken pox usually during the end of February. However, this year, it is quite earlier. The doctors expect more number of cases in the upcoming months. They also add that due to the availability of vaccination, the total number of cases is considerably reduced this year. It is to be noted that these vaccines are given in two doses – the first dose at the age of 12 months and other one at 4 years of age.
